Answer:

Metabolic activities take place in the cells of living organisms all the time. These activities produce wastes which cause serious health problems if they are allowed to accumulate.

Excretion is the process by which living body gets rid of wastes after taking the required nutrients and minerals from the food it has consumed.

Excretion occurs in plants and animals as they both have waste products to be removed from their bodies.

In human beings, the waste products are ammonia, carbon dioxide, urea, uric acid, bile pigments, excess salts etc. Kidneys, lungs, liver, and skin are the important excretory organs.

Plants have a less -developed excretory system unlike animals to throw out nitrogenous waste materials. Plants have two different types of excretion; Photosynthesis and Respiration

Oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis and carbon dioxide is a waste product of aerobic respiration.Resins, gums, latex are some other waste products.

Heyy there!!

Here's your answer:

Excretion in Animals:

UNICELLULAR

• simple diffusion from

body surface to external

Surroundings

MULTICELLULAR

Done by an excretory system

•2 Kidneys

•2 Ureters

•Urinary bladder

•Urethra

HOW:

URINE

1) Waste material is brought to

Kidneys through arteries.

2) There are millions of filtration

units called nephrons.

3) These nephrons absorb all the

filtrate.

4) The important products like Na

and Cl ions, glucose, amino acids

Are reabsorbed(through

diffusion) by the vein

which passes over the nephrons.

5) The unabsorbed part is

undesirable and is passed

To the collecting duct.

6)This is called urine and is

collected in the urinary bladder

Which is excreated by humans

(Voluntary , usually under our

Control)

FAECES

The solid waste that remains after the food is absorbed by the small and large intestine is excreted by the anus.

EXHALATION & SWEAT

We breathe out carbon dioxide and excess salts and water is excreated in the form of sweat

PLANTS

• oxygen can be thought as a waste

Products it's thrown out by

stomata.

•Excess water is excreted by the

Help of transpiration.

•They lose their leaves

•They may excreate waste into the

Soil.

This is all!!!
