Answer:

I have Mentioned one use of the following equipments.

a) Spirit lamp = A spirit lamp is used to produce an open flame.

b) Test tube = Test tubes are widely used by chemists to handle chemicals, especially for qualitative experiments and assays. ... Test tubes are convenient containers for heating small amounts of liquids or solids with a Bunsen burner or alcohol burner. The tube is usually held by its neck with a clamp or tongs.

c) Conical flask = Being made of pyrex or other borosilicate glass, a conical flask can be used for heating (or cooling) liquids without much risk of cracking. Often a solution is made up by adding a solid to a liquid in a conical flask, and sometimes heating it. A magnetic stirrer can be added to keep the mixture swirling.

d) Evaporating dish = Evaporating dishes are used to evaporate excess solvents – most commonly water – to produce a concentrated solution or a solid precipitate of the dissolved substance. Most are made of porcelain or borosilicate glass.

e) Wire gause = The wire gauze is usually used to keep glass beakers or flasks from breaking due to heat shock. ... When a Bunsen burner is used, a piece of wire gauze is often placed between the beaker/flask and a ring that is used to hold the beaker above the fire.

f) Beaker = They are used for non-critical measurement, heating liquids, dissolving solids into liquids, making mixtures, decanting liquids into test tubes, holding empty test tubes to stop them rolling onto the floor, making coffee, and substituting as a cup!

g) Mortar and pestle = Mortar and pestle are implements used since ancient times to prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder in the kitchen, laboratory, and pharmacy. The mortar (/ˈmɔːrtər/) is a bowl, typically made of hard wood, metal, ceramic, or hard stone, such as granite.

h) Measuring cylinder = A graduated cylinder, also known as measuring cylinder or mixing cylinder is a common piece of laboratory equipment used to measure the volume of a liquid. It has a narrow cylindrical shape. Each marked line on the graduated cylinder represents the amount of liquid that has been measured.

i) Glass tube = Glass tubes or glass tubing are hollow pieces of various glass types (like borosilicate, flint, aluminosilicate, soda lime, lead or quartz glass) with a large variety of applications which are laboratory glassware, lighting applications, solar thermal systems and pharmaceutical packaging.

j) Gas jar = A container used for collecting gas from experiments. It looks like a tube with a broad base and a broad opening.

k) Reagent bottle = Reagent bottles, also known as media bottles or graduated bottles, are containers made of glass, plastic, borosilicate or related substances, and topped by special caps or stoppers. They are intended to contain chemicals in liquid or powder form for laboratories and stored in cabinets or on shelves.
