Answer

We know that, the comparison of ratio is done by their LCM.

So, The LCM of 6 and 9 is 18.

Therefore,

5/6= 5×3/6×3

7×2/9×2

= 15/18 , 14/18

So, 15/18 is greater than 14/18

Therefore, 5:6>7:9
