a). 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are all rational numbers. The Rational Number is the number that can be in the form p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero. When the rational numbers are still in the form "p/q" then it is called as little difficult to use Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide Rational Numbers.

b) In mathematics, a rational number is any number that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction qp of two integers, a numerator p and a non-zero denominator q. Since q may be equal to 1, every integer is a rational number.
