Solution :-

Given that,

• The side of cube = 4cm
• The dimensions of cuboid = 8cm*6cm*5cm

According the question,

• The lateral surface area of cube

As we know that,

Lateral surface area of cube = 4(a)²,

=> 4 × ( 4 )²

=> 4 × 16

=> 64

The lateral surface area of cube is 64cm².

• The total surface area of cube

As we know that,

Total surface area of cuboid = 6(a)²,

=> 6 × ( 4 )²

=> 6 × 16

=> 96

The total surface area of cube is 96cm².

Now,

• Lateral surface area of cuboid

As we know that,

Lateral surface area of cuboid = [ 2 ( l + b ) × h ]

=> [ 2 ( 8 + 6 ) × 5 ]

=> [ 2 × 14 × 5 ]

=> [ 28 × 5 ]

=> 140

The lateral surface area of cuboid is 140cm².

• Total surface area of cuboid

As we know that,

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + hl ),

=> 2 ( 8*6 + 6*5 + 5*8 )

=> 2 ( 48 + 30 + 40 )

=> 2 ( 48 + 70 )

=> 2 ( 118 )

=> 236

The total surface area of cuboid is 236cm².
