Answer:-

(i) 4x + 5

terms = 4x and 5

coefficient of 4 = x, Coefficient of 5 = 1

(ii) 7x - 12 x + 8 = -5x + 8 = 5x - 8

terms = 5x and -8

coefficient of 5 = x, coefficient of -8 = -1

(iii) 5xy - 3xyz + 2

terms = 5xy , -3xyz , 2

coefficient of 5xy = x and y

coefficient of -3xyz = x, y and z

coefficient of 2 = 1

(iv) 9x + 7y² + 12z²

terms = 9x, 7y² and 12z²

coefficient of 9x = x

coefficient of 7y² = y²

coefficient of 12z² = z²
