Asked :-

The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 3:5. If the perimeter is 64 cm, find the length of the side of parallelogram ????

Given :-

Ratio of two sides - 3:5

Perimeter of parallelogram - 64 cm

To find :-

Length of side of parallelogram ??

As we know :-

Perimeter of parallelogram - 2( side + base )

Solution :-

2(3x  + 5x) = 64

2 \times 8x = 64

8x =  \frac{64}{2}

8x = 32

x =  \frac{32}{8}

x = 4

so \: 3x \:  = 3 \times 4 = 12cm

5x = 5 \times 4 = 20cm

Answers:-

12 cm
