Solution:
square PQRS
PQ = QR = 20 cm
Perimeter = 4 * 20 = 80 cm
Area = 20 * 20 = 400 cm²
PQ = QR = 12 cm
Perimeter = 4 * 12 = 48 cm
Area = 12 * 12 = 144 cm²
perimeter of the following squares
ii) area = 196 cm² (in) area = 2.25 m²
Area = 196 => Side = √196 = 14 cm
Perimeter = 4 * 14 = 56 cm
Area = 2.25 => Side = √2.25 = 1.5 m
Perimeter = 4 * 1.5 = 6 m
Perimeter of Square = 20 cm
=> Side = 20/4 = 5 cm
Area = 5 * 5 = 25 cm²
