1) With the help of a compass and a ruler draw a circle with the following measurements

Diameter: (i) 5.4 cm (ii) 6.4 cm
(iii) 8.2 cm (iv) 9.6 cm (v) 10.6 cm (vi) 7.5 cm​

Answer:

You have to put the pencil in the compass, then, put it against a ruler to measure how much you open the compass. For the radius part, open the compass according to the measurements i.e for (I) you will open the compass 3.5 cm. Then draw the circle.

For the diameter part,open the compass half of the measurements as

d = 2r

i.e for (I) you will open the compass 5.4 ÷ 2 = 2.7
