following base and corresponding
altitudes, in the unit specified in each case.
(i) b = 8.3 cm, h = 4.5 cm
(in cm2)
(ii) b = 2.5 m, h = 850 cm
(in m2)
(iii) b = 12 dm, h = 4 dm 5 cm (in dm2)

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

i) b=8.3cm,h=4.5cm

Area of a parallelogram = length×breadth

=8.3×4.5

=37.35cm^2

ii)b=2.5m,h=850cm

=0.85m

Area=length × breadth

=0.85×2.5

=2.125m^2

iii)b=12dm,h=4dm 5cm

=4+0.5 =4.5dm

Area=length × breadth

=4.5×12

=54dm^2
