The positive integers which when divided by 3 leaves a remainder 2 are the ones added to the multiples of 3 , they are as follows

5,8,11,14

In general it is of the form 3n+2, where n runs from 1 to infinity

In such questions we need to divide the number of flower pots by the flower pots per row, the quotient provides the number of rows needed, while the remainder gives the number of flower pots left

quotient=25

remainder=7

Number of completed rows=25

Number of pots left over=7.
