Exercise :- 2.3

1.) Write down the index and radicand for each of the following expressions

\begin{gathered}i) \: \sqrt{ \frac{11}{y}}\\\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ii) \sqrt[3] \frac{13}{3x} \\\\iii) \sqrt[5]{ {ab}^{2} } \end{gathered}

Transform the following radical forms into exponential forms. Donot simplify.

\  \textless \ br /\  \textgreater \ \begin{gathered}(i) \sqrt{36} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: (ii) \sqrt{1000} \: \: \: \: (iii)\sqrt[3]{8} \: \: \: \: \\ ( iv) \sqrt[n]{q} \: \: \: \: \ (v)\sqrt{(5 - 6 {a}^{2} } ){3} \ \\ \\ (vi) \sqrt[3]{ - 64} \end{gathered}

Answer: I am FINE ❤️❤️❤️ UUU

1) Rewrite the expression using √ab=√a.√b:

√11/√y

Rationalise the denominator :√11.√y/√y.√y

Simplify the radical expression : √11.√y/y

Rewrite the expression using √a.√b=√ab:

√11y/y

√11/y

2) Multiply the fraction by an expression to form a perfect square in the denominator: √13×3x/3x×3x

Multiply the monomials: √39x/9x²

Rewrite the expression using : √ab=√a.√b:√39x/√9x²

Factor and rewrite the radicand in exponential form: √39x/√3²×x²

Rewrite the expression using : √ab=√a.√b:√39x/√3²×√x²

Simplify the radical expression: √39x/3x,x>0
