Answer:

To find median

Arrange in ascending order

5,9,10,12,15,16,19,20,20,20,20,23,24,25,25

In 15 observation , 8th observation is the median

8th observation is 20

So,20 is the median

To find the mode , the value which is repeated many times is called mode

So,20 repeated 4 times

So ,20 is the mode

The value of the median and mode is same

Answer:

mode is maximum occurring observation

since 20 occurs 4 time,

mode=20

median=number of observation=15

since n is odd

median=(n+1)^th/2 observation

(15+1)^th/2=(16/2)th =8^th observation

8^th observation=20

they are same.
