Method:

4 × 1 = 4 {|} 5 × 1 = 5

4 × 2 = 8 {|} 5 × 2 = 10

4 × 3 = 12 {|} 5 × 3 = 15

4 × 4 = 16 {|} 5 × 4 = 20

4 × 5 = 20

Here, we find that the least common number (multiple) between the two numbers 4 and 5 is 20. Even though there are many common multiples of 4 & 5 like 200, 2000.. , the question is to find the least or smallest, common multiple.
