= ( 90 + 4 )^2

= 90^2 + 2 x 90 x 4 + 4^2

= 8100 + 720 + 16

= 8836.

= ( 900 + 99)

= 900^2 + 2 x 99 x 900 + 99^2

= 810000 + 178,200 + 9801

= 998,001.
