let ones digit number be y

and tens digit number be x

where, x>y

according to question

x=6y....... (1)

and x +y = 9

6y +y=9

7y= 9

y=9/7

putting the value of y in equation (1)

x=6*9/7

x=54/7

so x=54/7 and y=9/7

Answer:

36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be 10x+y

x+y=9......(1)

10x+y=6y.......(2)

or 10x=5y

or 2x=y.....(3)

From these Equations...(1) and (3)

3x=9

Hence,

y=6

x=3

Thus, the number is 36.

Hope it helps.
