Therefore, CE/RN= AC/PR =AD/PM

Multiplying numerator and denominator by 2

CE/RN= AC/PR=2AD/2PM

CE/RN= AC/PR = AE/PN (please refer figure)

triangle ACE congruent to triangle PRN

therefore, angle2=angle4 {cpct}

Also,

Angle1= angle3

Adding both above results

Angle BAC=angle QPR (refer figure for better understanding)

In triangleABC & trianglePQR

AB/PQ=AC/PR. ( given )
angleBAC=angleQPR

Therefore,

triangleABC is similar to triangle PQR. (By SAS test )
