 \frac{1}{2}   +  \frac{3}{7}  \\  \\ now \: lcm \: of \: 2 \: and \: 7 = 14 \\  \\ now :   \:  \:  \:  \frac{1 \times 7 + 3 \times 2}{14}  \\  \\  \frac{7 + 6}{14}  =  \frac{13}{14}  \\  \\ here \: we \: get \: the \: sum \: as \:  \frac{13}{14}
