Explanation:

Punctuation marks are signs that are used to make the sentence easier to understand for the reader. Comma, period, question mark, dash, colon etc. are some common punctuation marks used in English.

• The sentence has to always be begun with a capital letter and proper nouns should always be capitalized.
• When there are more than two things being mentioned, we use commas to separate them.
• Inverted commas are used to quote the words spoken by the speaker.
• Full stops are used at the end of a sentence.
• Question marks are used when the statement is a question, and are placed at the end of the sentence.
