QUESTION:-

How many bricks of dimension 15 cm x 10 cm×5cm will be required to build a wall of dimension 3m× 2 m × 250cm?

FIND:-

  • Volume
  • Number of bricks

SOLUTION:-

First dimension

Volume = (Length × Breadth × Height)

Volume = ( 15 × 10 × 5 ) centimetre

Volume = 750 centimetre

1 metre = 100 centimetre

:. 750 metre = (750 × 100) centimetre

750 metre = 75000 centimetre

Second Dimension

Volume = (Length × Breadth × Height)

Volume = ( 3 × 2 × 250 ) metre

Volume = 1500 metre

Each brick requires = (75000 ÷ 1500)

Ans. 50
