Answer:
Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment of for what you ate.”
Explanation:
Like many others, I began my fitness journey for purely aesthetic reasons. My weight fluctuated from diet to diet and workout to workout as I believed my self-worth was based on my physical appearance. Don't get me wrong: your physical appearance can help you get started on your journey, but it is only temporary. I liken it to constantly starving yourself. Although it feels good to finally eat when the time comes, the feeling is fleeting and unsustainable because you're always looking forward to the next meal. This journey will never sustain you. Imagine knowing you have everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for yourself when the time comes. How much more would you appreciate the process if you could?

Things had never resonated with me, and my body had never held on to any transformation until I discovered yoga. My practiCe reminded me that fitness was only one aspect of it and that it had evolved into a health and wellness way of life. Trust me when I say that your physical appearance is only a reflection of what's on the inside. That is why, just as you seek to understand and appreciate what is external, I encourage you to seek to understand and appreciate what is within. Instead of chasing a number on a scale or a certain appearance, concentrate on becoming the best version of yourself. Remember that the only way to get there is to recognize that you are already there.
⠀
Don't get me wrong: this journey has been and continues to be one of the most difficult I've ever undertaken. Will it be difficult? Yes. Is it going to be worthwhile? Absolutely.
I weighed around 250 pounds at my heaviest. Today, I am in the best shape of my life, endorsed by one of the world's leading fitness companies, and blessed with the opportunity to help others reach their full potential every day. Believe in the process and enjoy the ride.
