Answer:

1.Neon:

Tc = -248.58 °C

Tc = -248.58 °CTf = -415.444 F

2. Carbon dioxide:

Tc = -56.6 °C

Tc = -56.6 °CTf = -69.88 F

Explanation:

1) Neon:

Given, Temperature in Kelvin,Tk= 24.57 K

(i) Temperature in Celcsius,

Tc = Tk - 273.15

Tc = 24.57 - 273.15

=>Tc = -248.58 °C

(ii) Temperature in Farenheit,

Tf = (9/5) × Tc + 32

Tf = (9/5) × (-248.58) + 32

Tf = -447.444 + 32

=>Tf = -415.444 F

2)Carbon dioxide:

Given, Temperature in Kelvin,Tk=216.55 K

(i) Temperature in Celcsius,

Tc = Tk - 273.15

Tc = 216.55 - 273.15

=>Tc = -56.6 °C

(ii) Temperature in Farenheit,

Tf = (9/5) × Tc + 32

Tf = (9/5) × (-56.6) + 32

Tf = -101.88 + 32

=>Tf = -69.88 F
