Initially the Microsoft office was announced by the Bill Gates in the year 1988 . It was the set of applications which includes the Word , excel as well as the powerpoint. With the tools available in the office , MS office goes popular by years by years . This was the tools like spell checker which was initially starts in the office program . The office got so much popular that until 2012 the total number of users cross billion. Microsoft also introduced different versions not only for PCs but also for the mobile.
These office programs now also used at bigger industrial and business level. The latest version of office is 2016 which is better than the previous versions but still some people are using office 2010, 2012 and 2013 in the offices and at home level
