expain the term marginalisation

As the world suggest , marginalisation means living in corner. I mean to say that...we have margins in our notebook at the corner. So , actually the process of treating scheduled castes and tribes and sending them to live on corners of city is called marginalisation.

When a particular social group is forced to live on the fringes rather than in the mainstream; this is called marginalization. A marginalized section of the society does not get proper opportunity of socio-economic development.
