Expain why if diilled water ia kept in a sealed bottle for a long rime it leaves etching on the surface of glass

It sealed bottle there is no conduction of air so due to lack of air it leaves etching on the surface of glass, also due to long period of storage, the minerals (in traces, or in very small amount) diffuse with glass container ,forming etching.
