2) Bile juice- Bile helps to emulsify fats (increasing surface area to help enzyme action), and thus aids in their absorption in the small intestine. It also makes the acidic food coming from the stomach alkaline, so as to enable the action of pancreatic enzymes.

3) Pancreatic juice- Pancreatic enzymes break down food in the small intestine. When food enters the duodenum, it is deluged with pancreatic juice, which is defined as an alkaline secretion of the pancreas containing enzymes that aid in the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
