Given :-

➪ (⅔ x - ¾ y)²

To expand it :-

Identity used :-

➪ (a-b)² = a² + b² - 2ab

➪ a = ⅔ x and b = ¾ y

➪ (⅔ x)² + (¾ y)² - 2 × ⅔ x × ¾ y

➪ ⁴⁄₉ x² + ⁹⁄₁₆ y² - xy

Learn more :-

➪ (a+b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

➪ (a+b)² - (a-b)² = 4ab

➪ (a+b) (a-b) = a² - b²

➪ (a+b)² + (a-b)² = 2(a² + b²)

( \frac{2}{3} x - \frac{3}{4}y ) {}^{2} \\ \\ = > \frac{2}{3} x {}^{2} + \frac{3}{4} y {}^{2} - 2 \times ( \frac{2}{3} x) \times ( \frac{3}{4} y) \\ \\ = > \frac{4}{9} x {}^{2} + \frac{9}{16} y {}^{2} - xy
