Question

expand : (2x- 1/x + y)² using suitable identity.

Solution

Applying this identity (a+b)² = ++2ab and (a-b)² = +-2ab to solve this question

\Large\frac{(2x-1)^2}{(x+y)^2}

\Large\frac{(2x)^2+(1)^2-2×2x×1}{(x)^2+(y)^2+2×x×y}

\Large\frac{4x^2+1-4x}{x^2+y^2+2xy}
