AnsweR :-

\sf {(2x + 4)}^{2}

\sf {(2x)}^{2} + 2(2x)(4) +  {(4)}^{2}

\sf {4x}^{2}  + 12x + 16^{2}

Procedure :-

→ There are total 5 Algerbric identites in maths. This question will be solved by 1st Algerbric identity that is (x+y)² = x² + 2xy + y².

→ First we will do the square of 2x then we will multiply the 2 and 4 given in the bracket and then we will multiply it with the 2 which is outside the bracket. Then we will do the square of 4.

→ Hence, the final answer is 4x² + 12x + 16²

Hence,(a + b)^{2}=a^{2}+2(ab) + b^{2}\\∴(2x + 4)^{2}=2x^{2} + 2(2x \times 4) + 4^{2}  \\  = 4x^{2}  + 16x + 16
