GIVEN :-

  • (3m + 5n - p)²

TO EXPAND :-

  • (3m + 5n - p)²

SOLUTION :-

→ (3m + 5n - p)²

★ By using identity :- (a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca.

→ (3m)² + (5n)² + (-p)² + 2 × 3m × 5n + 2 × 5n × (-p) + 2 × (-p) × 3m

→ 9m² + 25n² + p² + 2 × 10mn + 2 × (-5np) + 2 × (-3mp)

9m² + 25n² + p² + 20mn - 10np - 6mp.

Hence the required answer is 9m² + 25n² + p² + 20mn - 10np - 6mp.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS :-

(a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca.

→ ( x + y )² = x² + 2xy + y²

→ ( x - y )² = x² - 2xy + y²

→ ( x - y ) ( x -y ) = ( x - y )²

→ ( x + y ) ( x + y ) = ( x + y )²

→ x² - y² = ( x + y ) ( x - y )

→ ( x + a ) ( x + b ) = x² + ( a + b)x + ab

Step-by-step explanation:

(3m+5n-p)2

expand it

(3m+5n−p)(3m+5n−p)

by multiplying each term in the first expression by each term in the second expression.

3m(3m+3m(n)+3m(−p)+5n(3m)

(5n5n)+5n(−p)−p(3m)−p(5n)−p(-p)
