To expand :- (4a³ - 7b³)²

By using identity :-

(a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab

So,

→ (4a³)² + (7b³)² - 2 × (4a³) × (7b³)

→ 16a⁵ + 49b⁵ - 56a³b³

Hence, expand.

More identities:-

  • (a+b)² = a² + b² +2ab
  • (a+b)(a-b) = a² - b²
  • (a + b)³= a³ + b³ +3ab ( a+b)
  • (a - b) = a³ - b³ -3ab (a - b)
