Hi ,
we know that algebraic identity
( x+y+z)² = x²+y²+z²+2xy+2yz+2zx
( 9/4 - b/2 + 1 )²
= (9/4)² + ( -b/2)² +1² +2×(9/4)×(-b/2)+2×(-b/2)×1+2×(1)(9/4)
= 81/16 + b²/4 + 1 -9b/4 - b +9/2
