=  log (2 * 3²)

Using log (ab) = log a + log b

= log 2  + log 3²

Using log aⁿ  n log a

= log 2 + 2 log 3

log 18 =  log 2 + 2 log 3

using log 2 = 0.3010

log 3 = 0.4771

log 18 = 0.3010 + 2 *0.4771

=> log 18 =  0.3010 + 0.9542

=>  log 18 =  1.2552
