Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet

It was Aristotle who said: ‘Patience is bitter, but its

fruit is sweet’. There is much wisdom hidden in his words. Patience

is one of the most positive virtues in achieving anything in life. Patience

means the right attitude. Patience means having the mental strength to hold on

despite challenges.  All great personages

in the history of mankind have been patient men and women. Jesus, Einstein,

Gandhi, Vivekananda, Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Kalam, etc. were divinely patient.

Patience does not only mean being skillful, it also means being

polite to aggressive and impolite users. Only a patient person can be courteous

to discourteous people. All people wish to be successful; however, success can

only be achieved by patient perseverance. While endavouring for success in any

field, one really needs to work very hard, face lots of obstacles, and deal

with thoughtless and uncaring people. Without patience, facing all of them is

impossible. Ultimately, patience bears sweet fruit.

So, all of us must cultivate and practice patience while doing our

day to day activities. At school, home, or at playground we must practice patience

with our family members, teachers, and friends.
