It is a lightweight, yet rigid, expanded foam polyvinyl chloride.
PVC is a chemically stable material that shows little change in molecular structure
of mechanical strength. PVC's free deformation is considerably low compared to other plastics, due to its limited molecular motion at ordinary temparature, whereas PE and PP have grater molecular notion in their amorphous section.
Due to its versatile properties, lightweight, durable, low cost and processability, PVC is now replacing traditional building materials like wood, metal, concrete, rubber, ceramics,etc. in several applications.
