3.In a democracy all people are equal before the law, all the people should have equal fundamental rights.

a. Democracy must not be only referred as a form of government , rather a way of life.
b. Democratic principles of consultation , deliberation must form part of every organisation, small or big, even families. It must be extended to all spheres of life.
c. Democracy has a broader connotation, it is not only about equal civil and political rights but also about social and economic equality and rights.
d. Real democracy can only be achieved if there is social and economic equality in the society.
e. Broader aspects of democracy also implies that the very idea of democracy goes beyond merely casting one's vote.
f. The role of the citizens in a democracy is not only restricted to mere casting vote and electing government , but in being constantly aware and vigilant.
g. A citizen must play a pro active role in keeping a watch on the government and its representatives.
h. Must voice his opinions freely, must make demands on the system and must complaint,the fact that people are complaining shows its success
