You are multiplying two factors in the argument.  So we add the logs.

log(x4y3) + log((x2y5)1/3)

log(x4y3) + log(x2/3y5/3)

For each log term. The arguments are being multiplied.  So we further add the logs.  Also, any exponents becomes of the coefficients of logs.

4log(x) + 3log(y) + (2/3)log(x) + (5/3)log(y)

Combine like log terms.
