Their are different type of people in this world, the one who knows how to take responsibilities of things and others who knows how to escape from taking responsibility of a thing. This saying is normally used for people who do not know how to work and never accepts the same fact. If one has made a mistake then one must know how to accept it otherwise he would be a bad workman blaming his tools.

proverb that suggests a poor workman tends to look for an excuse for his poor work. Example: It was really Andy's fault that the wall he built fell down but he tried to claim that the cement mixer was faulty.

Answer:

Success depends on someone' s ability to do work ,not on the tools what he or she uses.

A person having latest quality and quantity of equipment but not have any knowledge to use them blames on the use of the tool. On the other hand skilled person can do his work efficiently without any updated equipment. The difference is the use of knowledge but not to use of tools. A bad workman starts to quarrel with his tools when he does not not how to use the tools but a skilled man never blames on the tools as he knows how to use his skill on the work he is doing.

In our day to day life ,

we find many examples on the proverb. When a student gets less mark in the exam he excuses that the question were very tough to write but to express his inability to write the proper answer. A good student never make any blam on the question.

So we should have clear concept on something that we need to do but not make any excuse.
