Actually the line refers to those who have lost his or her faith due some course , but he has to be positive because light comes after darkness is over. When there is a will there is a way. One should not loose hope as there is laying a better tomorrow for him . The line refers to the cycle of joy and sorrow. During winter season evening become dry but spring unfold the cover of dryness. Flowers are waiting to open till spring comes.

So it tells us that we should never give up hope but to achieve something new after the darkness is over. We should have positive mind that new moon will bring new light in our life.
