From Batsman's perspective :

The ball which is thrown at you is like the problems you face in your life. You need to carefully observe it till the end and "hit" it as far away from yourself as you can. Trying to hit the ball without observing it might get you bowled or out. Similarly, while tackling your problems you need to deal it with patience. Any solution without thought might get you into trouble just as hitting the ball without proper judgement has a lot of risk of getting out.

To hit a boundary, power is not the only way. Technique in your shot and timing will help you achieve your goal of hitting a boundary. Similarly in life while dealing with problems, the rude way of solving it wouldn't always be the best way to deal with it. The timing of your solution (patiently waiting for the right time) and some thought added to it will solve your most difficult life problems.

Building up partnership with your batting partner in cricket is very useful. Similarly, building a long living partnership with your life partner is very crucial for your well-being.

From Bowler's perspective:

The ultimate goal of any bowler is to get the batsman out. It is either by aiming at the wickets or by any other method of getting him out. The wickets are like the goals we set in our life. We should always be focusing on them and try to reach no matter what. When we fail to hit the wickets, we try it in the next ball. Similarly in life, we need to give it as many tries as it takes to reach our goal. We must never be disheartened.

The bowler tries different variations in balls when the batsman is not getting out to a type of bowling. Similarly when we are continuously failing at reaching our goals, we need to try alternate methods. We need to try alternative paths.
