Answer:

One should eat to live, not live to eat

This proverb means we should take food in order to survive and to maintain physical health. But we must never regard eating as the only reason to live. Without eating any food human beings would die. But there are many more things to do in life instead of wasting our precious time simply eating like a glutton.

To live only to eat makes no sense in life. Human beings should have love, helpfulness, patriotism, dreams, morality, ideals, humanity, benevolence, music, education and many other things. The significance of life for us human beings is not to live only.

"one must eat to live and not live to eat" is a famous quote from the well known play write, Moliere's play 'The miser' .This proverb aims to communicate that one must eat as much as is needed to survive and not over eat. One must not make eating their lives purpose.

In today's life and age we have a lot of options available for travel, entertainment at even food. There are many types of food we can take but before taking we should understand that the food is primarily eaten for surviver and there is nothing wrong in consuming food for pleasure but avoid over consumption.
