Too many cooks spoil the broth simply means that when too many people get involved in a project or a task, either the task is overdone or ruined mainly due to lack of co operation created among teammates or taskmates involved in a single task. As in the case of many cooks preparing a single dish , each being independent minded adds various ingredients to the dish , which may have been already added, thereby spoiling the dish.
