Answer:

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

The proverb A friend in need is a friend indeed tells us that True friends are those who really help us in our bad times of life. They never left us alone, they motivate us and always support whenever we need them. True friend always listen to you and correct the mistakes you do so that you can be on right path.

The examples of true friendship can be found in the Ramayana, it is between ‘Rama and Sugreva’. In Mahabharta, it is between ‘Krishna and Sudama’, between ‘Duryodhan and Karna’. Such friends are life’s gratest blessing. Friendship with people like these last lifetime. Everyone must have heard and remember the story of ‘The Bear and The Two Friends’. We don’t want this of friend who runs away leaving a friend in trouble.

Hence, it is rightly said that ‘A Friend in Need is a Friend in Deed’. We should always rely on good friend rather then fair-weather friend.
