Expand using formula (2a+3)*2

The identity which is to be used :

(a+b)² = a²+b²+2ab

And the given statement which is to be expanded :

(2a+3)²

Solution :

(2a+3)²

= (2a)²+(3)²+2×2a×3

= 4a²+9+12a

The above identity is included in the topic of polynomials.
