✴In this question, we have to expand (√5 - √3)² by using suitable identity

☛Here the identity will be,

☛(a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b²

✔✔By expanding this value by identity, we get (√5)² - 2 × √5 × √3 + (√3)².

⚫By solving,

▶(√5 - √3)² = (√5)² - 2 × √5 × √3 + (√3)²

▶(√5 - √3)² = 5 - 2 × √15 + 3

▶(√5 - √3)² = 5 - 2√15 + 3

▶▶(√5 - √3)² = 8 - 2√15

Question-

Expand using identity.

 ({ \sqrt{5 } - \sqrt{3} })^{2}

Answer-

To expand the following we will use the following identity:

( {a - b})^{2} = {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} - 2ab

Expanding the following, we get :

( { \sqrt{5 } - \sqrt{3} })^{2} = 5 + 3 - 2 \times \sqrt{5} \times \sqrt{3}

 = > 8 - 2 \sqrt{15}

So, ( { \sqrt{5} - \sqrt{3} })^{2} = 8 - 2 \sqrt{15}
