The statement Charity begins at home is very true. The best way to demonstrate this is through sharing. When each member of a family shares his/her belongings with other members in the family, he/she learns the concept of giving to others. This way he/she will also be ready to give a helping hand to the poor whenever needed. Similarly, if we learn to care for family members at home, we will naturally learn to show concern for people in need outside our home.
