                      YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Someone has rightly said, “Safety saves sickness, suffering, and sadness." Another wise man said, “Don’t depend upon others for safety--help yourself." I strongly believe my safety is my concern. Others are too busy living their own lives. Why would anyone heed my safety? It is always better to be on your own guard. Others cannot be depended upon. There is ever increasing chaos of traffic on roads. People are in mad rush to reach their destinations. If you omit slightest precautions of safety, your life can be in jeopardy. Be extremely cautious when you drive on road. Be extremely careful with the food you eat outside. For you it's your health; but for others you are just a customer. No one can look after you better than yourself! So don't even think for a second your safety is concern of anyone else. If you make the mistake of counting upon the government, or police or anyone else for your safety, you have already exposed yourself to unwanted results. Gird up your loins and be responsible for your safety. Don't depend on others for your safety---help yourself.

YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

'BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.
' 'A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE.' 'PRECAUTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.' : these are a few tips that are time tested and useful warnings for our daily life. We can say that except for the natural calamities, man can avert the troubles if he is cautious.

If we are careful and foresee difficulties that may come as a result of our actions, we can plan to escape those difficulties. Similarly, if we follow the rules while driving, we can avoid accidents a great deal. Electric equipment at home should be used safely in order to avoid any mishap. Moreover, children handling them or any other tool is a big 'no'. If ever children have to use them, it should be under adult supervision.  For them, playing out on the streets should be strictly avoided as many children meet with an accident while playing on roads.

The same policy applies to our body as well, for that is also like a machine. We should take care of our diet and avoid excess intake of things which are injurious to health, especially tobacco and liquor. Going for regular check-ups and following up the doctors' advice is also equally important.

Due to remarkable development in science and technology, though we have made big leaps, our safety is at stake. Pollution, climate change, lifestyle related disorders and diseases threat our health as well as lives. Being the superior creation of God, we are responsible not only for our own safety but also for the safety of the other earth mates.
