Expansion of railway tracks in summer is it reversible or irreversible ?

Answer: it is reversible

Explanation:

It expands in summer due to the heat..the molecules of the railway tract move apart because of the heat..the vice versa happens in winter..i.e the molecules come closer and the railway tracks compress a little noticably..this can be a reason why train accidents occur
