x-y= 5
xy= 24
x = 5+y
So in above eqn,we get,
y^2+5y-24=0
So y= 5 , -3
-3 is neglected
Hence x is 5

Sum of these nos= 11
Difference of their cubes = 512 - 27 = 485
Sum of their cubes = 512 + 27 = 539
