Experience of a memorable holiday spent with your grandmother

It has been years since I met my Granny. Yeah,I hadn't met her from my 2nd standard.& now that I have passed my tenth standard,I went to meet her in summer vacation.My grandmother is very caring & loving.So she made sweet dishes & my favourite food for me.Even though she has turned 80years old,still she is so much active like a young woman.When I went at her place on 14April 2011,she made me sit on the mat & served me the nutritious food.In evening,we went in the market.We purchased mangoes of Ratnagiri & other essentials of home.After that I was standing with my sling bag,when someone tried to take away money from it.I was not aware of this.But my Granny took notice of it.& when the thief took the money & was running away,she suddenly with her dupatta,pulled him towards her & got hold of him.She saw a policeman standing nearby,she screamed & called her & handed the thief to the policeman.She then returned the bag to me.Being so old,she didn't lose hope & did a brave work.She taught me a lesson that day that "Even though we are old,we must try our best in facing a calamity."That was a memorable holiday spent with my Granny.She is a real heroine.
